Speech Title: Cybersecurity Issus and Implications for Robotic Control
Abstract: Electrical Engineering control systems allows for advance robotic application in ever demanding manufacturing situations. Designs are finalized knowing that humans cannot achieve the consistency, accuracy or range of movements. Robotic arms are not stand alone systems operated by a PLC, they are and moving beyond IT to Operational technology. As this epoch changes the integration of Operational Technology now demands cybersecurity protection not developed or used before. This research talk will share successes and future directions for research based on completed and ongoing research.
